A:After you open your checking account with us, you will receive the routing and transit number of the bank and your account number. If your employer participates in a direct deposit program, simply provide this information to the human resources or payroll department at your company. Your direct deposit will usually begin within thirty days.

Q:How do I set up Direct Deposit of my Social Security check?
A:After your Somerset Hills checking application or savings application has been approved, you will receive the bank's routing and transit number and your account number. Simply call us at 908-221-0100, and have your social security number and account information available to set up your direct deposit right over the telephone.

Q:Can I get information about my account by telephone?
A:Yes! Somerset Hills Bank has two ways of serving you by telephone. By calling 908-221-0100 Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to noon, you can speak with a customer service representative who will be happy to review your account with you and answer any questions you may have. In addition, after hours, or during banking hours at your option, you can reach our automated telephone banking system, EZAccess, at 877-611-3872.
